Fujitsu Next Tech System Components & Troubleshooting Class - (3 hours) of both indoor and outdoor components are discussed. Circuit boards, electronic expansion valves, compressor, 4-way reversing valve, thermistors, fan motors, active filter modules, inverter power module, diffuser drive motor and other components are identified and demystified. We discuss various technical manuals and how to use them to troubleshoot systems. Step-by-step troubleshooting of these components will be highlighted. The training describes their roles in the everyday operation of the systems and the importance of their functions. We will highlight how to identify error codes and use technical documents in the field to properly diagnose these components.

Electrical Testing & System Diagnostic (ETSD) “The Teardown” Class
Fujitsu Electronics Testing and System Diagnostic Training, also known as “The Teardown Class”, provides in-depth troubleshooting for AIRSTAGE Inverter systems.
This class will cover a complete teardown and rebuild of an indoor wall mount unit, troubleshooting training on an outdoor unit, and a hands-on lab which includes board level diagnostics and testing DC components, thermistors, and compressors with multi-meters. Attendees will understand how a Fujitsu minisplit works and learn how to use the Fujitsu Mobile Tech app.
Detailed course material is paired with interaction, involvement and participation with course participants. Students will be tested to check comprehension and retention of the course materials and receive a certificate of completion. Graduates can earn from 1-5 points towards their ELITE Contractor status. NATE certification is also available.
Students will need to bring their own multi-meters and a Phillips-head screwdriver for the class.

Training will demonstrate how to disassemble outdoor components and sub-assembly modules. We will show you how to identify electrical DC grounds for proper testing. You will be instructed on how to identify various field service issues. You will learn how to read error codes on indoor and outdoor units.
