PEX Piping
PEX is available in straight lengths, rather than coils, for distribution piping in both plumbing and heating systems. Straight sticks are available up to 2” diameter.
Radiant Heating, Cooling & Snowmelt
Cross-linked Polyethylene pipe, or “PEX”, is commonly used in under floor heating applications. PEX diameters range from 5/16” to 5/8” for under floor and snowmelt. There are different types of PEX, depending on the manufacturing process, with the PEX “A” type being most popular and utilizing the expansion method for creating a fitting.
