Domestic Water Heating
Heat Pump Water Heaters
Hybrid heat pumps allow air-to-water heat recovery first as the more efficient mode, with an electric element backup. Available in 50, 66 and 80 gallon sizes residentially. Proper air flow is required. Rebates may be available.
Indirect
Fully packaged storage water heater that utilizes double wall brazed plate heat exchanger to transfer heat. The design allows for multiple heat exchangers for redundancy, and recovery rates from 600 to 10,000 GPH. Tank sizes are 175 to 500 gallon standard, with up to 1000 gallon by special order.
Instantaneous
Instantaneous water heaters utilize plate/frame heat exchangers with a combination of sophisticated PID controllers and temperature valves to meet real-time load demands, producing up to 150GPM of hot water. Semi-instantaneous allows for either steam-to-water or water-to-water via tube type heat exchangers in a vertical or horizontal configuration, up to 225 GPM.
Storage Tanks
Large volume tanks designed for storing potable water include jacketed and unjacketed, ASME and non-ASME, up to 2,500 gallons.
Tank-Type Heaters
Gas to electric options available, from “lowboy” under the sink models for point-of-use, to 40-50 gallon residential, and condensing and non-condensing commercial 120gal. / 1MBTU inputs. Electric models can get up to 54kW and 120gal.
Tankless
Gas and electric options available, from small 2 and 4 element models, to condensing and non-condensing commercial units with ability to be racked up to 600K BTU.
